Woder ‘Combo’ Advanced / Heavy Metal / Lead Removal water filter

Our HMADV Filtration is for homes with heavy metals (especially lead) above the EPA’s recommended levels in their water.

HMADV stands for Heavy Metals and Advanced media, and is combined into a single stage filtration unit. This is primarily for homes with a whole house sediment filtration system OR with low sedimentation levels.

Removal Capabilities: Our advanced filter removes 99.9% of lead, heavy metals, chlorine, chromium 6, mercury, volatile organic compounds, carcinogens, and other contaminants, turbidity, odors, and bad tastes (claims tested by CLB Labs and are not certified by WQA).

Application: Residential Point of use (POU). Same as our ADV (WD-S-8K-ADV) but with more heavy metal removal media, for residential areas with increased levels of heavy metals in the water (higher than EPA’s recommended level of heavy metals).

System includes: WD-S-HMADV-REP cartridge, Head with a built-in shut off valve, inlet and outlet welded in 1/4″ John Guest fittings | Fits All 1/4″ Plastic Flex Tubing and Flexible Copper Tubing used for water supply to ice makers and refrigerators, etc. 1/4” JG also fits the 1/8″ PEX TUBING as its O.D. is the same as 1/4” Tube. DOES NOT FIT BRAIDED HOSES.

Heavy metals are present in all water supplies; however, excessive levels of heavy metals require filtration formulated to remove excess contaminants. The problem is they accumulate in the body and are difficult to remove. Our ‘Combo’ Filter is made for communities with reported increased levels of heavy metals.

Our proprietary Selective Filtration™ technology removes 99.9% of contaminants while leaving in all essential minerals. Reverse Osmosis (RO) filters also remove 99.9% of contaminants, however, RO also remove ALL the minerals found in tap water – including minerals your body needs. RO systems can waste thousands of gallons of water annually while flushing contaminants down the drain.
