John Guest (JG) fittings come as a quick connect, inline style, which fits all 1/4″ plastic flex tubing and flexible copper tubing used for supplying water to ice makers, refrigerators, dedicated filtered water faucets, RV’s and more. 1/4” JG also fits 1/8″ PEX TUBING as its outer diameter (O.D.) is the same as 1/4” tubing. The approximate circumference measurement of a 1/4″ water supply line is about 0.7854 inches.
